2023 Sustainability Report

Church & Dwight and the ARM & HAMMER™ brand have a long history of sustainability and environmental responsibility. We began using recycled materials in our cartons over 100 years ago and we were the first U.S. manufacturer to remove phosphates from our laundry detergent. And, in 1970, we were one of the few corporate sponsors of the inaugural Earth Day. Our commitment to sustainability continues today as we achieved new emissions reductions, improved overall recyclability, reduced water use, and were awarded the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s 2023 Safer Choice Partner of the Year Award!
